认证程序的目的

认证 is a quality assurance process that confirms a higher education institution meets established academic and operational standards and can sustainably support student learning. Successful accreditation allows institutions to offer trusted degrees and credentials, access federal funding and financial aid, and ensure transferability of credits and employability of graduates. Accredited status signals educational quality, sound institutional practices, and adequate resources for student success. In the U.S., accreditation is a private, non-governmental process grounded in peer review and both internal and external institutional evaluation.
